Urban Letters by Yarn Bombing Los Angeles

Submit your urban letter   Urban Letters is a public art project by the knit graffiti collaborative Yarn Bombing Los Angeles. Using large colorful yarn letters, we will write in public spaces what people want to say to the city of Los Angeles. Please submit what you would like us to write in a neighborhood of Los Angeles!
"I Do."
It’s the theme for this year’s One City One Pride celebration (www.weho.org/pridemap). Would be cool to see it with a big rainbow crochet ring somewhere in West Hollywood to celebrate a year of gay marriage!

"Mi escuela es tu escuela."
To be written on the fence of Grand View Elementary in Mar Vista as a welcome symbol to all students.  We have a fantastic Dual Language program that we want to promote and our humble Title One school is directly adjacent to a very posh and private Wildwood School.  We shine too!

"“Any fool can know. The point is to understand.” - einstein"
To be written in Pico Rivera, in front of a recently closed school that is also just feet away from newly renovated streets. (if this phrase is chosen, i’d love to be involved.) keep doing what your doing! (:
